About Me

Let me introduce myself in short: Born in Holland, moved to Crete 12 years ago with my husband. He went back to Holland, I stayed. Owned supermarkets in Holland, sold them to buy a bar in Elounda. After our divorce ‘left’ the bar, which is now a supermarket! Stubborn as I am, bought (yes, you can see it coming) a supermarket, turned that (yes, again) a bar. Sold my part in the bar after 6 months: I realized then that that circle was closed! No more supermarket, no more bars! In the winter of 2005 I went to Nepal as a volunteer, working with children. Lost or found my heart there ‘voluntarily’. Found my Circle: summertime Elounda, wintertime Nepal.
